Webz.io is looking for an Application / Full Stack Team Lead

We are looking for a passionate and experienced R&D Team Lead to join our growing team, reporting directly to the VP R&D.

As a Team Lead, you’ll drive the development of our core web applications, shaping the experience of our customers and impacting our product directly. You’ll manage and mentor a team of three developers, both local and remote, while maintaining a strong hands-on approach. You’ll collaborate closely with our data team and lead the entire development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

● Lead the design, architecture, and development of our web application end-to-end

● Manage and mentor a team of 3 developers, fostering ownership, technical growth, and team collaboration

● Maintain the right balance between hands-on coding and technical leadership

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data, Product, and DevOps

● Own the professional and personal development of the team

● Run bi-weekly sprints and manage quarterly planning

● Contribute to product planning and feature design

● Troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain the performance and stability of the system

Requirements:

● 5+ years of hands-on development experience, with at least 3 years in leading development projects

● Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, and SQL databases

● Deep understanding of backend architecture, microservices, and modern deployment practices, including Docker.

● Familiarity with UI/UX design tools like Figma – advantage

● Experience working in fast-paced startup environments

● Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring and team building

● Experience working on scalable, production-grade SaaS applications
