Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Actively participate in R&D projects focused on algorithm development.
- Guide and mentor engineers within the algorithm team. Foster their professional growth and provide technical leadership.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers on medical device projects, from conceptualization to testing phases.
- Liaise with clinical and regulatory teams to ensure compliance and facilitate submissions to regulatory bodies.
- Design and implement research strategies for technology development initiatives and clinical studies.
- Contribute to the body of knowledge through the publication of technical papers.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum of MSc. or Ph.D. in science, engineering, or mathematical fields.
- Advanced degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience as algorithm developer with expertise in data science, signal processing and machine learning.
- Expertise in data science, signal processing, machine learning and AI
- Data analysis using advanced analytic tools such, MATLAB, Python, and others as required.
- Designs, develops, analyses, troubleshoots, and provides technical skills during research and/or product development.
- Strong aptitude for mathematics, calculus, and statistics
- Exceptional presentation and reporting skills
- Excellent English (both reading and writing), as all documents are written in English.
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring engineers.
- Experience in algorithm development for medical products – Major advantage
- Experience with EEG – Major advantage
- Scientific background in practical mathematics, with experience working in a medical device organization – Advantage.
- Familiarity with Medical device standards (e.g., IEC60601)
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
