WAY2VAT is a fast-growing Fintech company, we provide automated VAT\GST reclaim solution that simplifies local and foreign VAT\GST recovery for to global corporations.

We are looking for an experienced data scientist that will be overseeing our data strategy, lead the development of our core AI solution and take it to the next level.

You will play a key role in shaping the new generation of our core technology to operational, and strategic objectives, reporting directly to head of R&D team.

Responsibilities

·      Take full responsibility over the development and maintenance of W2V AI-Driven technology

·      Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

·      Collaborate with the engineering team to design and maintain an efficient and scalable data infrastructure.

·      Establish robust data governance practices to ensure data security, compliance, and accuracy.

·      Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data management, analytics, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

·      A least 2 years of experience in a similar role – Must.

·      B.sc. in Computer Science, Math, related fields, or relevant coursework - Must.

·      Experience with traditional machine-learning algorithms, statistic, NLP, computer vision.

·      Hands-on experience with Python and relevant data science packages

·      experience with MLOps processes and creating models' pipelines, Linux fluency (scripting, command line)

·      experience with complex data analysis ; datastore and management: SQL ; cloud experience - GCP or AWS.

·      Able to work independently, Strong self-learner with great communication skills

·      Nice to have, experience with:

·       Snowflake or other data warehouse

·        NoSQL- mongodb

·       AWS

·       Serverless Framework

This position will be based in our (easy to access by light train) Petah-Tikva office.
