We are looking for an experienced Data Systems Analyst to serve as the link between business stakeholders and development & infrastructure teams.

In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of business requirements — from understanding the business need and designing the solution and data model, through hands-on development of data processing workflows and all the way to production.

The role is technology-agnostic. We are looking for someone who can step into different environments, learn them deeply, and deliver value across on-prem and cloud environments, relational and NoSQL databases, and batch and real-time processes.

The focus is on strong analytical thinking, end-to-end ownership, and the ability to translate business requirements into production-ready code — rather than expertise in a specific technology.

What you’ll do:

• Gather and analyze business requirements with stakeholders across Insurance, Long-Term Savings, Finance, Customer Service, and Actuarial teams, and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Design and develop data models and DWH structures supporting core business processes, reporting, analytics, and regulatory requirements.
• Write complex SQL queries, optimize performance, and troubleshoot bottlenecks in high-volume production environments.
• Design and implement system integrations, file transfer processes, and real-time synchronization mechanisms.
• Work closely with Development and QA teams throughout the entire lifecycle, from requirements and design through delivery, including integration testing and data quality validation.
• Coordinate production deployments, working with relevant teams and business units, and monitor processes following deployment.
• Maintain documentation, version control, and CI/CD processes in accordance with organizational standards.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis and data processes, including proven experience writing comprehensive functional and technical specifications.
• Strong SQL skills, including writing procedures and functions, analyzing execution plans, and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes in large-scale enterprise data environments.
• Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, including dimensional modeling, Star Schema, and normalization.
• Proven ability to work independently and own the process end-to-end — from understanding a business requirement to delivering production-ready code.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
