RavenDB • Hadera, Haifa District, Israel • On-site, 4 days/week
RavenDB is a NoSQL database company. We sell on-premises licences and hosted cloud instances, and the systems that price, bill, invoice, and reconcile all of that are the ones you'll own.
Company Overview:
RavenDB is a leading NoSQL database platform, offering robust and scalable data management technology to businesses worldwide. Our cutting-edge database platform empowers organizations to efficiently store, retrieve, and analyse their data, enabling them to make informed decisions and drive business success.
About the Role
This is a new role, and the first of its kind at RavenDB. You will own the operating layer behind how the business runs: the internal systems, the revenue data, and the automations that connect sales, marketing, customer success, finance, and support.
It sits at the intersection of business applications, revenue operations, and business analysis. Half the job is technical - building inside our CRM and internal systems, integrating tools, designing data models, and automating what people do by hand today. The other half is commercial -understanding how deals actually progress, where the funnel leaks, and what leadership needs to see in order to decide.
You will lead a team of two today, with a plan to grow it to four or five, and you will stay hands-on yourself. You will report directly to senior leadership and work closely with the CEO, and you will have real influence over how the company operates rather than a queue of tickets to work through.
You do not need database expertise. You do need to be technical, commercially sharp, and comfortable building structure where very little exists yet.
What You'll Own
- Core Platform & .NET Architecture- Own the architecture, scalability, and technical roadmap of our core C# / .NET base platform. The foundational engine of our business. Ensure the system is robust, well-structured, and built to support rapid business growth and seamless cross-system integration.
- Internal business systems- Own our CRM (Zoho today) and all connected internal systems end-to-end: data model, objects and fields, workflows, permissions, integrations, and data quality.
- Revenue reporting and dashboards - Build the reporting layer that gives leadership visibility into pipeline, conversion, sales activity, customer engagement, renewals, and bottlenecks, and make sure the numbers can be trusted.
- Automation and AI tooling - Replace manual work across data enrichment, lead routing, follow-ups, internal updates, and reporting using automation and AI tools.
- Sales and GTM operations - Pipeline hygiene, territory and quota support, and the day-to-day operational backbone of the revenue teams.
- Quote-to-cash and cross-functional workflows- Support the operational flow between sales, finance, and support - pricing and quoting, contract and renewal tracking, vendor and partner onboarding, and documentation.
- Process and playbooks- Turn messy, manual workflows into repeatable operating rhythms with clear owners, templates, and documentation that hold up as the company grows.
- Platform strategy and migration - Own the roadmap for our systems stack: requirements, vendor selection, data migration, and rollout.
- Team leadership- Lead a team of two and grow it to four or five, set priorities against business impact rather than request volume, and develop the people who report to you.
What You Bring
Must have
- Expert-level proficiency in C# and .NET - Deep, hands-on experience designing, architecting, and maintaining complex enterprise applications and core business systems.
- 4+ years in Business Applications, Business Systems, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or GTM Operations in a B2B software company.
- At least 2 years leading a team, or leading projects with formal responsibility for other people’s work.
- Experience implementing or migrating a CRM, or owning a significant system rollout end-to-end.
- Deep hands-on CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or equivalent): building objects, fields, workflows, reports, dashboards, and integrations yourself.
- Strong analytical ability — comfortable in SQL or advanced spreadsheet work, and able to turn scattered data into a clear recommendation.
- Commercial judgment. You understand how a B2B deal actually progresses and can tell the difference between a request and a real business problem.
- A builder’s mindset and high ownership. You are comfortable when the definition is incomplete, and you can set the direction yourself.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Experience in a developer-facing, open-source, or infrastructure product company.
- Experience with product-led or self-serve motions alongside enterprise sales.
- Familiarity with billing, subscription, or ERP systems.
- Scripting ability (Python, JavaScript, or similar) for integrations and data work.
