Senior Data Scientist | Jerusalem

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for a large defense organization in Jerusalem. The role focuses on developing analytical models and data-driven solutions for a new organizational system to improve workflows, support data-driven decision-making, and optimize services for users.

Responsibilities

Develop statistical models and algorithms for prediction, classification, and anomaly detection

Analyze data and generate business insights

Develop metrics and KPIs

Support the integration and implementation of models into organizational systems

Develop data-driven solutions based on business and organizational needs

Work closely with Project Managers, System Analysts, development teams, and professional stakeholders across the organization

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in Data roles, including at least 2 years as a Data Scientist

Experience developing statistical models and performing data analysis

Experience working with SQL

Experience working with large databases

Experience developing models and algorithms for prediction, classification, and anomaly detection

Experience working with Machine Learning

Ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions

Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and independently lead tasks
