Strauss Water is looking for a Product Systems Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead engineering representative within the product development core team.
- Guide software and electronics teams in defining product architecture and system configuration.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers through matrix management.
- Bridge gaps between marketing requirements and technological capabilities while maintaining a strong consumer perspective.
- Drive engineering solutions and resolve technological challenges throughout development.
- Perform analytical cost-benefit analyses and evaluate alternative solutions.
- Define system logic, state machines, flowcharts, and technical specifications.
- Establish and oversee reliability testing throughout the development lifecycle.
- Promote cost-effective, manufacturable, and serviceable product designs.
- Identify, assess, and manage technical and project risks.
- Ensure effective knowledge management and transfer to production support teams.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering or Software Engineering (M.Sc. is an advantage).
- Experience with board design, EMC/EMI, component selection, embedded firmware development, closed-loop control systems, and sensing algorithms.
- Proven experience developing at least one multidisciplinary consumer product from concept through mass production.
- Experience working in high-tech or large organizations.
- Strong leadership capabilities, assertiveness, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Service-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Hands-on approach to engineering and problem-solving.
