We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and lead a greenfield Lake House project for a major client in the energy sector. You’ll build a unified data platform on Microsoft Fabric from scratch, connecting multiple operational systems and enabling data-driven decision making.

What You’ll Do

• Build end-to-end Data Pipelines connecting On-Premises systems to the cloud

• Set up On-Premises Data Gateway for secure hybrid connectivity

• Develop Semantic Models and integrate with Power BI

• Enable self-service analytics for business users through SQL endpoints

• Document data models, pipelines, and best practices

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business requirements

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer – mandatory.

Proven experience developing ETL processes and Data Pipelines – mandatory.

Strong proficiency in SQL – mandatory.

Hands-on experience working in Microsoft Azure environments – mandatory.

Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) – mandatory.

Experience with Databricks – significant advantage.

Experience with Python development – advantage.

Experience in Data Modeling and Data Warehouse design – advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
