Senior Data & BI Engineer (Databricks) | Ramat Gan

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a Senior Data & BI Engineer (Databricks) for a medical organization in Ramat Gan.

This is an opportunity to lead end-to-end data solution development, building scalable and high-performance data platforms that support critical business decision-making in a data-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop end-to-end Data and BI solutions.

Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes.

Perform data modeling and SQL performance optimization.

Work with Databricks, Spark, and cloud-based Data Platforms.

Build scalable, reliable, and high-quality data infrastructures.

Collaborate with BI, Data Science, and Development teams to translate business requirements into technology solutions.

Support the development of enterprise-grade analytics and reporting capabilities.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in Data Engineering and/or BI Development.

Proven experience with Databricks, including Spark, Delta Lake, Workflows, Databricks SQL, and Unity Catalog.

Strong SQL expertise, including ETL/ELT development and performance optimization.

Experience with data modeling, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema methodologies.

Experience developing and maintaining Data Warehouses.

Proficiency in Python/PySpark or Scala.

Experience working with Git and CI/CD tools.
