PAYTAG develops innovative self-checkout, RFID, IoT, and retail automation technologies that combine hardware, software, connectivity, and cloud services. We are looking for an experienced engineer who enjoys working across multiple disciplines and taking products from concept to deployment.

• Design, develop, and maintain Embedded Linux-based products.
• Develop software solutions using Python 3.
• Integrate hardware, communication protocols, cloud services, and third-party systems.
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance in real-world deployments.
• Work directly with customers, partners, and internal teams to support integrations and deployments.
• Participate in product architecture, technical planning, and future roadmap development.
• Support field installations and technical escalations when required.

✅ B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

✅ 4+ years of hands-on engineering experience.

✅ Strong knowledge of Linux and Embedded Linux environments.

✅ Practical experience with Python 3 development.

✅ Experience working with communication protocols, including:

• TCP/IP
• Serial Communication
• Bluetooth Classic

✅ Fluent English (written and spoken).

✅ Customer-facing experience and ability to work directly with clients and partners.

✅ High availability, ownership mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.

⭐ Experience with RFID technologies.

⭐ Experience with AWS, IoT platforms, or cloud-connected devices.

⭐ Previous project management or technical leadership experience.

⭐ Experience using SolidWorks (basic model viewing and editing).

⭐ Prior managerial or team leadership experience.
