We are seeking an experienced Algorithms Team Leader to lead one of our advanced AI and Computer Vision teams and drive the development of cutting-edge algorithmic capabilities for next-generation electro-optical systems.
In this role, you will lead the research, design and development of advanced algorithms for image and video understanding and analysis in the fields of Computer Vision and AI.
The position is located in Rehovot
Job Description
Lead and manage a team of algorithm developers, including technical guidance, mentoring, and professional growth
Drive the end-to-end development of algorithmic solutions: from research and concept through implementation and deployment
Own the technical roadmap and execution for algorithmic capabilities such as: Multimodal Zero Shot, Object Detection, Image Enhancement, Gen-AI, Segmentation, and Tracking
Lead system-level design, optimization, and performance improvements within complex, multidisciplinary Electro-Optics systems
Make architectural decisions and guide best practices for algorithm development, experimentation and productionization
Collaborate with system engineering, software and product teams to define system requirements and ensure successful integration
Promote knowledge sharing and technical excellence across teams (methodologies, tools, and innovations)
Balance hands-on technical contribution with leadership responsibilities where needed
Requirements
M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related field
8+ years of experience in Image Processing, Computer Vision and Deep Learning
2+ years of experience in a leadership role
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple parallel projects
Proven experience leading algorithm development in production environments
Strong programming skills in Python
Hands-on experience with Deep Learning methodologies and frameworks
Strong system-level thinking and architecture design capabilities
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make technical trade-offs under constraints
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
High motivation and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Basic knowledge of classic computer vision algorithms
Knowledge in Electo-Optics systems and/or optics – an advantage
