Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure, internal services, and developer tooling the enhance reliability, DevEx and engineering productivity using AI and various automation tools.
- Develop AI-driven platform capabilities, including internal agents, workflow automation, and intelligent integrations across engineering teams.
- Own and evolve AWS infrastructure using IAC.
- Build and operate secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud foundations to support Pango's platform and product services.
- Enable Engineering and product teams through self-service platform capabilities and automation.
- Integrate platform components and backend services written in Python and .NET Core.
- Work closely with the Director of Platform & Infrastructure, as well with Engineering, DevOps, and Data teams.
- Drive platform engineering best practices, reusable infrastructure patterns, and inner-source development models across teams.
Requirements:
- Proven hands-on backend engineering experience, preferably in platform, tooling, DevOps or automation domains.
- Experience with AI Code tooling, AI agents, LLM-based tools, or intelligent automation.
- Background in building internal platforms, developer tooling, or sherd infrastructure used across multiple teams- Strong Advantage.
- Strong hands-on coding experience alongside a solid understanding of infrastructure and cloud-native environments.
- Solid understanding of AWS cloud-native architecture microservices infrastructure (EKS, ECS), serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway) including CI\CD pipelines and observability practices.
- Proven experience with IAC and modern infrastructure management practices (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation...).
- Strong expertise in Python – preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams.
