A leading company developing advanced hybrid propulsion systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join its core engineering team.
This is a hands-on real-time embedded role with direct responsibility for firmware development and hardware–software integration in complex electro-mechanical systems. The Embedded Software Engineer plays a central role in system realization, working closely with electronics, mechanics, and system engineering to deliver robust, production-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop real-time embedded software in C/C++ for mission-critical systems.
Design and implement bare-metal firmware and low-level drivers.
Implement and maintain hardware communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, Serial).
Take hands-on responsibility for HW–SW integration and board-level bring-up.
Participate in system architecture and software design discussions.
Debug complex HW–SW issues using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers).
Support system integration, validation, and verification activities.
Contribute to internal development standards and software quality practices.
Qualifications
B.Sc. in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Electrical Engineering – mandatory.
At least 3 years of experience in real-time embedded software development (C/C++) – mandatory.
Experience with hardware interfaces and communication protocols (UART / SPI / I2C / Serial).
Strong experience in embedded systems and HW–SW integration.
Hands-on experience with bare-metal and firmware development - advantage.
Experience working with Git.
Experience with Python for tools, testing, or automation – advantage.
Key Skills

Strong system-level thinking with attention to low-level implementation details.

Ability to analyze and resolve complex HW–SW integration issues.
