We are looking for a Real-Time Embedded Software Engineer to join the Engineering & Systems Factory at the Missile & Space Systems Group, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

The position includes:

• Developing Embedded software in C, including interfaces and applications, for advanced microcontrollers and processors

• Designing, developing, and integrating drivers and BSP (Board Support Packages) for hardware systems

• Performing hardware board bring-up and working closely with hardware teams, including driver development and testing

• Implementing various communication protocols, including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet, including configuration, testing, and optimization

• Integrating various hardware components, including sensors, memory devices (Flash, RAM, SDRAM), modules, and peripheral subsystems

• Working with and developing for operating systems and Bare-Metal environments

• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary hardware and software development teams

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering

• At least 3 years of experience in Embedded systems development

• Excellent proficiency in C, including a deep understanding of memory management, pointers, optimization, and advanced programming concepts

• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and processors from different families

• Strong understanding of hardware architecture, including the ability to read electrical schematics, block diagrams, and datasheets

• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD debuggers

• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a strong drive for technical excellence
