Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Drone Control Engineer, located in Shoham. The Senior Drone Control Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing control systems for autonomous drones. Responsibilities include developing motion control algorithms, troubleshooting control and robotic issues, integrating electrical systems, and ensuring seamless coordination between hardware and software components. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance drone performance and adaptability.


Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Drone Control and Motion Control systems
  • Proven experience in Electrical Engineering and Robotics
  • Experience with ROS1/ROS2
  • Expertise in c++ and python
  • Expertise in PX4/ardupilot, PID concepts, path planning, localization
  • Proficient in identifying and resolving complex engineering challenges through Troubleshooting
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize hardware and software integration
  • Advanced knowledge of programming languages and tools relevant to control systems is an advantage
  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in autonomous systems or drone technology is a significant plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
