RT Software Engineer | Ashdod, Israel | IAI

Join ELTA Systems, a global leader in radar, signal intelligence, electronic warfare, and integrated systems. We are seeking an experienced RT Software Engineer to contribute to cutting-edge defense technologies.

The position includes:

• Developing radar and intelligence systems using C/C++ on real-time operating systems

• Analyzing and writing requirements, performing tests, optimizing code, and integrating systems in Host and Target environments

• Working with RT operating systems such as VxWorks and Embedded Linux

• Familiarity with Docker containerization

What we’re looking for:

• Academic degree or practical engineering diploma in software or exact sciences

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in RT Embedded software development using C++

• Strong skills in Object-Oriented programming, Multithreading, and Multicore environments

• Familiarity with DevOps processes is an advantage

• Experience with configuration management tools (GIT) is an advantage

• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally

• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and committed to excellence
