We are looking for an experienced and visionary Director of Engineering to lead a high-performing team of 6–10 Full Stack Engineers. In this role, you will be at the heart of our AI product development, balancing people management, strategic technical leadership, and hands-on execution. As a leader in our R&D department, you will drive technical innovation, oversee complex architectures, and ensure we are building scalable, cutting-edge AI solutions that solve real-world problems.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 6–10 Full Stack developers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Hands-on Development: Remain technically "active" by contributing to the codebase, performing code reviews, and solving complex technical challenges alongside your team.
- Strategic Vision: Work closely with Product and AI teams to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and scalable architectures.
- Innovation & Excellence: Drive technical innovation within the team, staying ahead of AI trends and implementing best practices in software engineering.
- Execution: Own the end-to-end delivery of high-quality features, from initial design to production, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Engineering Leadership (managing 5+ developers).
- 10+ years of overall experience in Full Stack Development. Proven experience in a company developing AI-powered products. Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, and SQL.
- Strong background in System Design and Architecture.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead through ambiguity.
