Description

We are monday.com, a global software company transforming how businesses run. Our product suite can adapt to the needs of diverse industries and use cases within one powerful platform, empowering ~245,000 customers worldwide to reimagine how work gets done, drive greater efficiency, and scale like never before.

With over 2,500 employees across the globe, we grow by prioritizing transparency and knowledge sharing. We care about the impact you make, not the hours you clock, so we encourage initiative, ownership, and fresh thinking. We back our people with flexible work, wellness and mental health support, and a work environment built on collaboration.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Application Engineer to join our team and play a key role in enhancing our financial and operational business processes through advanced information systems. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and are passionate about driving change, we want to hear from you!

About The Role

  • Act as the primary bridge between business requirements and technical execution, translating complex financial strategies into scalable, automated solutions within our AI-driven ecosystem, including systems as Pigment & CaptivateIQ.
  • Architect Commission Logic: Collaborate with RevOps to implement complex sales compensation plans.
  • Data Integration & Integrity: Build reliable data pipelines connecting the Planning and Compensation systems with our core stack (Salesforce, NetSuite, SuccessFactors, and BI). You will ensure a "single source of truth" across all platforms.
  • Process Automation: Identify bottlenecks and design automated workflows to reduce manual overhead and eliminate errors.
  • Engineer Financial Models: Partner with the FP&A, HRIS and RevOps teams to build and maintain multidimensional data models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning. You will turn financial logic into dynamic system structures.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Business Applications, Finance Systems, or Sales Operations Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience administering major SaaS platforms.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency. You feel comfortable with complex formulas and logical nesting. Strong understanding of Dimensional Modeling concepts.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and webhooks.
  • Strong analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. You can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Advantages

  • Experience with planning systems (e.g. Pigment) or Compensation tools (e.g. CaptivateIQ).
  • Scripting experience (Python, JavaScript).
  • Experience with iPaaS tools (e.g. Workato) or building custom workflows.
