The Role 

As a DevOps Intern, you'll join our team, which specializes in building infrastructure to support data science and machine learning projects. You'll gain hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure. Under guidance from experienced engineers, you'll contribute to projects that improve platform reliability, automation, and scalability, actively learning and applying modern techniques. We value curiosity, teamwork, and a desire to build technical excellence. Join us to kickstart your DevOps career and make an immediate impact!

Your day-to-day 

Manage production cloud infrastructure, encompassing Linux servers, Couchbase, Elasticsearch, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and more.

Write scripts in bash/python/go.

Oversee the telemetry to alerting pipeline and promptly respond to alerts.

Utilize metrics to make informed decisions regarding scale and cost.

Innovate beyond standard operational tasks by actively designing how they are executed.

Requirements

What you bring to the team 

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Basic understanding of cloud services or interest in learning cloud infrastructure.
• Comfortable writing scripts and/or code (Python preferred).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in learning about data science infrastructure and workflows.
