Our innovative company, operating at the forefront of robotics and automation, is looking for a Control Team Manager to lead the control domain in advanced projects. The role includes professional management of a control engineering team, developing and implementing software solutions for automated and robotic systems, with an emphasis on Beckhoff programmable logic controllers.
Responsibilities:
- Ongoing management and professional leadership of the control engineering team
- Design, development, and implementation of software for programmable logic controllers (PLC), mainly Beckhoff (TwinCAT)
- Responsibility for communication interfaces between various systems – robots, drive systems, image processing, user interface, and more
- Troubleshooting complex issues in control systems and leading continuous improvement processes
- Coordination with mechanical, electrical, testing, and assembly departments in multidisciplinary projects
- Writing specification documents, code documentation, and software version management
- Training new team members and maintaining a high level of professionalism within the team
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software, or a related field – required
- 3+ years of experience in software development for programmable logic controllers – required
- Full proficiency in Beckhoff PLCs, including TwinCAT 3 – required
- Experience in leading teams or project management – significant advantage
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, Modbus, OPC UA, etc.)
- Systemic thinking, proactive approach, and the ability to solve complex problems
- High proficiency in both Hebrew and English (reading, writing, speaking)
Additional Advantages:
