We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Backend Engineer with a strong DevOps bias to own services running in a multi-cloud environment (GCP, AWS, OCI). This is a hands-on role for engineers who understand that production is part of the product.

You’ll build backend systems and be accountable for how they run across clouds: deployment, reliability, cost, security, and scale.

Responsibilities:

Backend Engineering

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Write production-grade code with operational awareness
• Design systems that work across cloud providers
• Optimize performance, resilience, and data consistency
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across environments

DevOps / Platform Ownership

• Own CI/CD pipelines targeting GCP, AWS, and OCI
• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
• Operate containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes, managed services)
• Manage cloud networking, IAM, secrets, and security boundaries
• Implement observability across clouds (logs, metrics, traces, alerts)
• Lead incident response and post-mortems
• Drive reliability, deployment velocity, and cost efficiency

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years experience in developing Python applications and pipelines using modern AI development cycles
• Hands-on experience with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, OCI)
• Strong CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred)
• Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE/EKS/OKE or equivalents)
• Practical cloud security knowledge (IAM, networking, secrets, isolation)
