We are seeking a highly hands-on software team leader to manage the development of our high-performance software stack, spanning from RT robot control, through high-throughput data pipelines, to AI training infrastructure in the Cloud.
Role Description
As a Software Team Leader, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of RT applications, Cloud, and frontend developers. Your mission is to develop and maintain the infrastructure for our ML-driven robotic control systems, ensuring a seamless closed-loop data flow. You will oversee the full development lifecycle and play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge robotic solutions to our global industrial customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on leadership: you will actively contribute to the design, coding, and review of critical C# and Cloud components, spending approximately 70-80% of your time on hands-on development.
- Team management: mentor and lead team of multidisciplinary SW developers.
- Edge architecture: oversee the C#/.NET core IPC application for RT robot control and high-frequency sensor data acquisition.
- Build the learning loop: lead the implementation of an AWS based robust data pipeline capable of uploading, buffering, processing and storing streams of video, audio, and sensor data for fueling the training of our AI algorithms.
- Frontend oversight: guide the development of both the local operator HMI (Kiosk mode) and the cloud analytics dashboard, ensuring efficient data flow and great UX.
- Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with HW Engineers, Algorithms Developers, and Mechanical teams to integrate software with physical reality.
- Establish and implement R&D methodologies, standards, and tools. Drive adoption of best practices in Agile development, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
Professional
- Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years leading multidisciplinary software teams (.NET/Web/Cloud) with a strong hands-on focus.
- 3+ years expert-level C#/.NET based RT applications development (Multithreading, Memory Management, Async/Await mastery).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing AWS solutions, specifically building data pipelines and processing services.
- Strong grasp of system architecture and time-series databases.
- Web Awareness: understanding of modern web architectures (React/Angular) for HMI/Dashboards.
- High level and fluent Hebrew and English, both verbal and written.
Advantage:
- Background in PLCs and industrial communication protocols (CIP, EtherNet/IP, TCP/UDP).
- Experience with Media Processing (Video/Audio streaming).
- Experience with DevOps, Docker.
- Experience with working in start-up / young technology companies, preferably in the fields of robotics, industrial automation, and AI.
