About the Role

As our lead iOS developer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development, maintenance, and optimization of Jotit’s iOS applications. You’ll work closely with product, design, and customer-facing teams to translate real user needs into seamless mobile experiences.

This role requires someone who is hands-on, proactive, and comfortable owning the entire iOS codebase. You’ll also engage with customers when needed—handling technical cases, troubleshooting issues, and supporting calls with professionalism and clarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Jotit’s iOS applications.
• Own the full mobile development lifecycle: architecture, coding, testing, release, and ongoing improvements.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Identify and implement optimizations for performance, security, and scalability.
• Manage customer-related technical inquiries, including troubleshooting and participating in support calls when needed.
• Act as the technical authority for all iOS-related decisions and future direction.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in iOS development using Swift and modern frameworks.
• Proven ability to work independently or within a team, taking ownership of complex technical challenges.
• Fluency in the English language, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Experience leading or being the primary developer of at least one production-ready iOS application.
• Strong understanding of iOS architecture, UIKit/SwiftUI, networking, local persistence, and app lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication skills—capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to internal teams and customers.
• Comfortable managing customer cases and participating in customer calls when needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-driven work style.
