Verobotics - an innovative Israeli startup, is looking to hire a Mechatronics & Electro-Mechanical Lead Engineer to join its growing R&D team.

The company develops advanced autonomous robotic systems designed for high-rise building maintenance and inspection. Their flagship solution leverages AI, sensors, cameras, and cutting-edge algorithms to create digital models of skyscrapers, enabling predictive maintenance and significantly reducing costs for property owners and operators.

Role Overview

In this role, you will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team, driving the development, design, and integration of mechanical and electromechanical systems for next-generation robotic platforms. You will be involved throughout the full product lifecycle, from early-stage design through to integration, testing, and production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead experiments, testing, and field integration to overcome complex real-time engineering challenges.
  • Design, develop, and integrate mechanical and electromechanical systems for autonomous robotic platforms.
  • Collaborate with algorithm, software, and electronics teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Develop modules for motion mechanisms, cable systems, actuators, and sensor integration.
  • Improve system reliability, stability, and performance across deployments.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to transfer designs into production.

Requirements

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience developing complex robotic or mechatronic systems.
  • Hands-on expertise with motion systems (motors, actuators, gearboxes) and sensors.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).
  • Background in integration with electronics and control systems.
  • Advantageous: experience in industrial robotics, cable-based systems, or Digital Twin applications.
  • Strong practical engineering skills, proactive mindset, and ability to solve problems in real-world conditions.
