About the team

Innoviz Technologies is developing state-of-the-art LiDAR sensors for the automotive industry. The System validation and verification group at Innoviz is responsible for testing and validating Innoviz’s lidar products, which are complex multidisciplinary systems consisting of HW, optics, Algorithms, MEMS, mechanics, and SW. We are looking for a skilled System & Point Cloud Validation Engineer to join our great team.

Responsibilities

• Gain in-depth knowledge of system requirements, system architecture, and features.
• Design, implement and execution of tests to evaluate the performance and correctness of the system.
• Work with all research and development disciplines (systems engineering, software, hardware, optics), actively participate in system design reviews, agree on the test approaches and have a discussion on the results.
• Developing automation to achieve high accuracy, efficiency, and capacity - allowing the system tests to scale up.
• Leading end-to-end system tests, organizing data, summarizing results, preparing reports and presenting them internally and to customers.
  
  
  

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field – higher degree is an advantage.
• At least 7 years of experience as a system testing in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience in analyzing and evaluating point cloud quality.
• Experience with lasers / optical sensors, an advantage.
• Experience in code development with Python.
• Excellent technical ability and technological skills.
• High ability to write and to present the system performance reports.
• Self-fast-learner, details-driven character, problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking.
• Good interpersonal relationships, responsible, self-motivated and team player.
