About Solid:

Solid is an AI-powered analytics platform designed to make data teams dramatically more consistent, efficient, and collaborative. We integrate deeply into the modern data stack, ticketing systems, BI tools, and business applications to automatically build a knowledge graph of your company’s data and analytical work. Solid helps analysts work faster, avoid redundant work, make consistent decisions, and maintain governance across SQL, metrics, and data assets. As an early-stage startup, we move fast, value ownership, and are building the future of how analytics teams operate.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a data-savvy, product-minded analyst who understands how real analysts work and wants to help shape the quality and experience of Solid’s AI-powered features. This hybrid role combines

Product analysis, user behavior insights, and AI validation.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience as a data analyst in real-world environments: writing SQL, delivering analyses to business stakeholders, working with BI tools, and understanding how analysts think, work, and evaluate insights. This practical experience is essential for validating the quality and usefulness of Solid's AI outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

Product & Usage Analytics

  • Analyze product usage and feature adoption weekly, generating actionable insights for the product team.
  • Track performance and behavior to assess usability, friction points, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to inform roadmap decisions based on observed user behavior and validation results.

Data Expertise

  • Independently investigate data tools like: DBT, BI tools, DWH tools etc.
  • Identify inconsistencies, missing metadata, or gaps that could impact the accuracy of our AI engine.

AI Quality & Validation

  • Validate the accuracy, consistency, and usefulness of new AI-powered features before release.
  • Evaluate Solid’s analytical outputs and ensure they align with the expectations and workflows of real analysts and data engineers.
  • During onboarding of new environments, test and confirm that Solid’s responses are correct, valuable, and aligned with the company’s data assets and goals.
  • Build and maintain structured test cases, validation frameworks, and repeatable quality checks for AI accuracy.

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years as a Data Analyst or Product analyst.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field OR completion of an elite data/tech-focused army unit (e.g., 8200, MAMRAM, etc.)
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort exploring data independently.
  • Hands-on experience working with DWH and BI tools (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Tableau, Looker, PowerBI).
  • Prior work delivering insights to business stakeholders.
  • High analytical skills and attention to detail, especially in validating technical or data-heavy outputs.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into product recommendations.
  • Bonus: experience with data modeling, governance, or AI-assisted analytics tools.

Who You Are

  • You care deeply about accuracy, consistency, and the quality of analytical work.
  • You enjoy switching between analytical tasks and product thinking.
  • You want to shape the next generation of AI tooling for data teams.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where you can influence product direction.
