WINT’s IoT hardware and software water-management solution serves the real-estate and industrial sectors. The devices – installed in buildings like the Empire State Building and on construction sites – monitor usage patterns and use Machine Learning, signal processing and statistical analysis to detect anomalies and prevent leaks by automatically shutting off water. Our customer prevents massive damage to facilities (which could reach millions of dollars per incident) and save 20%-25% of their ongoing water consumption.

Who we’re looking for:

We are seeking a highly skilled New Product Introduction Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the WINT Bill of Materials (BOM) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes, including effective communication with suppliers and WINT’s hubs. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Testing Jigs (End-to-End):

Responsible for the full lifecycle of testing jig design, including hardware, software, statement of work (SOW), mechanical design, integration, and implementation.Manufacturer Line Management:

Oversee and support manufacturing lines, including quality assurance, testing jigs, issue resolution, implementation of ECOs, process improvements, and application of 5S/Lean methodologies.Electronic Troubleshooting and Investigation:

Investigate and troubleshoot hardware-related issues in coordination with firmware, both on production lines and in returned/defective units from the field. Work cross-functionally to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

WINT BOM Management:

Oversee the WINT BOM to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any discrepancies or changes in the BOM.

ECO Process Management:

Lead and manage the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process from initiation to completion. Including version controlCoordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and WINT’s Hubs to implement approved changes.

Quality assurance:

leading Org. quality assurance, leading SQRD & integration process in suppliers, WINT integrations center

Required Skills and Experience:

• Electronic Engineer degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Hardware NPI field.
• Proven experience in managing hardware BOMs and ECO processes.
• Experience with Python scripting for automation, testing, tasks within hardware or production environments.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Priority systems – advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
