Loris, is building the next generation of conversation intelligence — and we’re looking for our first Engineering Manager in Israel. This is a rare opportunity to shape both the technology and the culture of a growing R&D hub, reporting directly to our CTO. Background

We’re looking for a seasoned Engineering Leader to help scale and evolve the Loris engineering organization — a fast-growing AI SaaS company now part of Contentsquare.

You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team (backend, frontend, QA, and DevOps) and shape how we deliver software at scale. Beyond delivery, your impact will come from building leaders, structuring the organization, and driving engineering excellence that balances startup agility with mature execution.

This is a role for someone who enjoys zooming in to solve complex technical and operational challenges - and zooming out to design how multiple teams work together, collaborate, and grow.



Responsibilities:


  • Lead and scale an engineering organization of ~11 engineers (targeting 16+).
  • Develop and coach engineers and team leads - helping them grow into confident, empowered leaders.
  • Recruit and hire exceptional talent and establish scalable structures for growth.
  • Drive delivery excellence: ensure clear priorities, predictable execution, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Structure the org into focused squads or groups with clear ownership, aligned goals, and autonomy.
  • Champion AI-driven productivity - help engineers adopt AI tools and workflows to accelerate coding, reviews, and documentation.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Data, and CX to connect engineering with business outcomes.
  • Shape engineering culture — blending startup pace and ownership with operational maturity.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Engineering on strategic planning, capacity, and org design.


What We’re Looking For


  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven success as a group manager or head of engineering, leading multiple teams and team leads.
  • Experience scaling engineering organizations and introducing structure without bureaucracy.
  • Strong track record of hiring, mentoring, and growing team leads and managers.
  • Experience managing multiple disciplines (backend, frontend, QA, DevOps).
  • Tech-savvy mindset and enthusiasm for enabling engineers with AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Cody, internal copilots) to improve velocity and quality.
  • Excellent communicator who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution instincts and empathy for both people and process.


Nice to Have

  • Experience in SaaS, AI/ML, or data-intensive products.
  • Background in building scalable, distributed systems.
