Junior DevOps & Systems Analyst

About the role

We’re looking for a mo􀆟vated junior who is ready to work hard, take real responsibility, and learn across

many fields. This role combines DevOps, backend, monitoring, documenta􀆟on, and systems analysis. You’ll be

expected to dive into different areas, handle challenges independently, and grow quickly while contribu􀆟ng to

produc􀆟on systems.

What you’ll do

 Maintain Linux EC2 & databases: updates, backups, SSL renewals, troubleshoo􀆟ng.

 Automa􀆟on & deployments: write scripts (Python/bash), improve CI/CD, build repeatable deploys

and simula􀆟ons/test environments.

 Monitoring & reliability: set up dashboards/alerts (CloudWatch, Sentry, etc.), handle first-line

incidents, and escalate with clear notes.

 Systems analysis & documenta􀆟on: describe system flows, write user stories/􀆟ckets, keep API docs

(OpenAPI/Swagger) and runbooks up to date.

 Networking & security basics: debug DNS/SSL/VPC/security-group issues, apply patches, and support

IAM least-privilege improvements.

 Backend support: small fixes and debugging in Node.js, FastAPI, or Flask.

Must-haves

 Comfortable with Linux/CLI, Git, and basic networking (HTTP, DNS, TCP).

 Python for scrip􀆟ng.

 Strong sense of responsibility—you care about keeping systems running smoothly.

 Clear wri􀆩en communica􀆟on: you can document steps and acceptance criteria.

Nice-to-haves

 AWS fundamentals: EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS.

 AWS Lambda basics.

 Basics in Node.js, FastAPI, Flask, and SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

 Familiarity with Docker.

 Simple diagrams (draw.io/Lucid).
