Job Description

Telefire, a leading manufacturer of fire detection and building technologies, is looking for highly motivated executive, to lead the R&D team. This position reports to the CEO.

Responsibilities

• Leading multi-disciplinary team of Hardware, Software (including Cloud), QA and IT.
• Responsible for the development of new hardware and software products as well as enhancements to existing products.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for new products locally and globally.
• Act as the go-to technology authority within the organization.
• Develop and manage budgets and comprehensive work plans.
• Occasionally engage in hands-on technical work to support your team.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from a top-tier university.
• Over five years of leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary R&D teams.
• Over a decade of hands-on experience in the full lifecycle of hardware and software projects.
• Demonstrable success in leading complex, concurrent projects from inception to market.
• Expertise with IoT and cloud-based technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of R&D processes for hardware, embedded systems, and various software applications.
• Experience in cybersecurity is a plus.
• Exceptional adaptability in dynamic environments and under pressure.
• Strong learner and communicator, with a team-centric ethos.
• Fluency in English is essential.
