We are looking for a highly driven and experienced senior developer to join our dynamic and experienced Core team. Operating in a start-up-like environment within a global cybersecurity leader, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering high-impact data-driven cybersecurity solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- As a senior data pipeline engineer you will:
- Design and develop scalable core components – Architect and implement robust, high-performance components within our evolving XDR/NDR platform, driving scalability, automation, and operational excellence across a cloud-native ecosystem.
- Deliver production-grade SaaS features at speed – Rapidly develop and deploy secure, enterprise-grade features in a high-scale SaaS environment, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and exceptional quality from idea to deployment.
- Lead and contribute to architectural discussions – shaping the technical direction of the platform, through deep engagement in system design, technology evaluations, and strategic decision-making.
- Own infrastructure-level initiatives – building and optimizing cloud-native, high-throughput data pipelines and services that are secure, observable, and scalable by design.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team - contributing individually while thriving in a high-caliber, experienced engineering environment.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python, with strong software engineering fundamentals, clean coding practices, and a focus on performance and scalability.
- Proven experience in data engineering, ETL development, or large-scale data processing.
- Solid knowledge and real-world experience with NoSQL databases preferably MongoDB and Azure Data Explorer (ADX)—including data modeling and query optimization.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure, though AWS/GCP experience is also valued).
- Ability to navigate and drive progress in complex, cross-functional projects, with a structured, proactive, and ownership-driven approach.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, data sources, or threat detection frameworks is a significant advantage.
