As we scale, we're hiring a Software Engineer to lead all user-facing features — with a core focus on developing DataHub, our analytics engine, into a revenue-generating product.
Role Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and driven Software Engineer to join our team. This role is central to building and scaling complex, data-centric systems that support intelligent decision-making in the ecommerce space.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of core user-facing features
- Build scalable, high-performance data systems
- Collaborate across engineering, product, and data teams
- Translate business needs into reliable, maintainable technical solutions
Minimum Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Strong experience in:
- Backend or full-stack development (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Scala)
- Large-scale data systems and complex architectures
- High-scale, high-availability application design
Technical Skills
- Data Infrastructure: Apache Spark, Databricks, Flink; NoSQL/NewSQL databases (MongoDB, BigQuery, Cassandra, etc.)
- DevOps & Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS/GCP/Azure, monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus)
- Engineering Practices: TDD, CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, microservices, event-driven architecture
Soft Skills
- Self-starter with strong ownership and accountability
- Business mindset with the ability to align tech with company goals
- Curious, data-driven, and passionate about solving hard problems
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with machine learning pipelines or data science toolchains
- Background in e-commerce, SaaS, or AdTech
- Working with 3rd-party data providers and external APIs
