🚀 About the Role:

We are seeking a driven and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer with a solid DevOps foundation and a strong interest in advancing into DevSecOps. You'll be immersed in all aspects of modern infrastructure management while gaining direct exposure to security practices that support highly regulated environments.

In this role, you will work closely with our CISO & Chief Product Officer often acting as their right hand and stepping up in their absence. It's an ideal position for someone eager to develop leadership capabilities, expand their security acumen, and make a measurable impact in a forward-thinking, high-trust environment.

🔧 What You'll Do:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) to support fast and safe delivery.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.
• Administer and automate operations across AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure cloud environments.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes, ECS, or Docker Swarm.
• Champion automation of key processes including deployments, scaling, and disaster recovery.
• Actively participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve DevOps best practices and elevate developer experience.
• Work alongside the security team to implement DevSecOps principles, ensuring system integrity and compliance.
• Harden infrastructure using Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and modern security frameworks.

🎯 Who you are & What you have:

--- Must ---

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role.
• Strong background in Linux system administration.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python, Go, or Ruby.
• Deep understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Git-based workflows.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools and methodologies.
• Sound understanding of networking concepts including DNS, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot independently and deliver reliable solutions under pressure.
• Passionate about automation, scalability, security, and problem-solving.

--- Nice to Have ---

• Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
• Hands-on with Helm, ArgoCD, Flux, or Karpenter.
• Industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with security tools and practices (e.g., Vault, Aqua Security, Snyk). Prior experience in a startup or agile development environment
