Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Oracle and MS SQL Database Expert to join our core Database Team. This role demands in-depth expertise in Oracle Database and Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), along with strong command of SQL for performance tuning, diagnostics, and development support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Oracle Database environments (12c/19c and above)

• Design, implement, and support highly available systems using Oracle RAC

• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot database performance using advanced SQL techniques

• Support development teams with complex SQL queries and performance tuning

• Perform database backup and recovery operations using RMAN

• Implement and enforce best practices for database security, integrity, and maintenance

• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and development teams on cross-functional projects

• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations for production support

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration

• Strong practical experience with Oracle RAC in production environments

• Expert-level knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, including writing, analyzing, and optimizing queries

• Deep understanding of Oracle internals, ASM, Data Guard, and Grid Infrastructure

• Solid experience with RMAN and database cloning

• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
