Posted Position Title: DevOps Engineer

Function: Software Engineering

Role Summary/Purpose:

• Implement automated/continuous build, deploy and release processes in the CI/CD pipeline using integrated tools like RTC-Jazz/ GIT, Jenkins, Nexus/Artifactory, etc.
• Automate build process while integrate new tools to support continuous delivery of the different product releases
• Manage configuration and upgrades for different tools used part of the development and CI processes such as GitHub, EWM, Artifactory, Jenkins, Azure, Graphana.
• Manage build environments (Physical as well as Virtual), and software releases on scheduled basis
• Define, communicate, maintain and manage the software development methodology, CI/CD and deployment processes for the different division products
• Supporting development team with CI/CD related issues, integrating artefact’s and VM infrastructure needs

Define, develop, and track different quality metrics to ensure productive work process as well as delivery of high-quality products

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps engineering.
• Experience as a Devops Team Leader
• Strong knowledge of source repository administration with tools like GitHub, and AzureDevOps.
• Strong scripting language experience in one or more - PowerShell, Python, Jenkins pipeline/groovy,
• Knowledge in Unix scripting: Bash/Shell
• Experience on operating systems: Windows desktop/server/nano, Unix and Linux
• Experience on development of Continuous Integration process using Jenkins pipelines, Azure yaml pipelines and GitHub actions.
• Experience on build and configure infrastructure via terraform, Pulumi, OpenTofu, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, deploy and manage via Kubernetes
• Experience on virtualization (VMware, HyperV) as well as containers – An Advantage
• Experience on any of the known cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP, IBM/Oracle clouds, others)
