Senior Backend Developer

Now we’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join us at Red Access.

Not just someone who writes code, but someone who leads features end-to-end: takes a spec, designs the architecture, builds it, tests it, ships it.

We need someone who thinks big, executes independently, and brings strong backend foundations to the table.

With plenty of support from the team, the responsibility and the keys are entirely yours.

This isn’t just another coding role.

You’ll be taking full ownership of features - from initial design through development to testing and delivery.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Work independently to architect solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.
• Build and optimize database schemas, queries, and performance.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through robust coding and testing.
• Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot server performance and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments.

Your Arsenal:

• 5+ years of backend development experience, 3+ Years in Python is a MUST (excluding military experience). Other languages are welcome, but we need at least 3+ years of hands-on Python.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Experience with MongoDB and GCP BigQuery
• Familiarity with Microservices and Serverless (Lambda)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and Docker
• Academic degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science
• Bonus: experience with Kubernetes (K8s)
