About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with 5-7 years of experience specializing in computer vision and machine learning for medical diagnostics. In this role, you will develop and optimize cutting-edge algorithms for image processing, segmentation, and classification, ensuring high accuracy and robustness for real-world clinical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize computer vision and machine learning algorithms for hematology diagnostics.
- Work on image pre-processing, segmentation, feature extraction, and classification.
- Implement deep learning models (CNNs, Transformers) for large-scale medical image analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians and regulatory experts, to integrate models into real-world healthcare applications.
- Ensure adherence to software development best practices, including clean code, design patterns, testing, and version control.
- Handle end-to-end model development, from data processing and statistical analysis to deployment and monitoring.
- Document methodologies, present findings, and ensure model interpretability and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
- Master’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Computer Vision.
- Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Hands-on experience with computer vision libraries (OpenCV, scikit-image, etc.).
- Strong background in statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience working in clinical environments and collaborating with clinicians.
- Familiarity with medical device regulatory frameworks and AI validation processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in medical imaging, hematology, or healthcare AI applications.
- Knowledge of regulatory and clinical validation processes for AI models.
- Familiarity with cloud-based AI deployment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
