What Are We Looking For?
As the AI Lead at Hyro, you will lead a team in charge of the development and implementation of our cutting-edge Conversational AI engine, the “brain” behind our virtual assistants, that revolutionizes patients' access to care across the United States. You will set the strategic direction for our AI initiatives such as generative AI, drive innovation, and lead a team of experts to build scalable, reliable, and robust AI-powered products. This position will report to the VP of Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on research and development: Design, develop, and implement products incorporating Generative AI, Knowledge, training models and more. Lead Hyro's AI research, and integrate successful research to production fast.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and scale the AI team, fostering a culture of high standards and innovation.
- Product Integration: Collaborate with executive leadership such as VP product and CTO to manage the incorporation into Hyro’s products.
- Architecture: Experience in building scalable and reliable production systems and services, including system design, databases, and MLOps.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: 3+ years of experience in a leadership role within the AI domain, including managing teams, guiding AI strategy, and driving innovation.
- Technical Proficiency: 5+ years of hands-on development experience, including experience in applied NLP development and in building LLM-based applications.
- Product Sense: Ability to translate AI concepts into product features that enhance patient care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Capacity to work in a fast-changing environment
