Get SAT satellite communications is looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and self-motivated FPGA engineer to be part of the R&D of multidisciplinary Satcom systems.
The role requires an innovative person who can think out of the box, deal with daily and complex challenges. You will be required to see the big picture, take part in strategy definition and be responsible for high quality Client products.
The position includes:
- Designing the architecture and data flow of systems built on SoCs that combine embedded processors with FPGA logic
- Integration of soft-core controllers and peripheral IP blocks as part of FPGA system architecture.
- Transition of system functionality from software to FPGA logic for performance optimization
- Hands on with FPGA debug methodologies, such as ChipScope, SignalTap or others.
- Hands on experience with electronic test and measurement equipment, such as oscilloscopes and logic analysers.
- Experience with verification methodologies, RTL and gate level simulations and debug.
- Experience debugging silicon and PCB issues.
Requirements:
- BSc/ MSc in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Engineering
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in FPGA development.
- Xilinx (Vivado, ISE), Modelsim.
- Working with various Embedded environments.
- Altium schematics high-level knowledge.
- UltraScale MPSoC / Zynq Embedded environments, Linux based.
- Experience with networking – advantage.
- Excellent design standards and strong debug skills.
