About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Team Lead to take ownership of the design and development of our cutting-edge medical technology. Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on design and development of the core components of the company’s product.
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary R&D team.
- Own and execute the company’s software roadmap.
- Manage daily stand-ups and cross-functional communication.
- Oversee R&D project planning and execution.
- Lead the transfer of software from development to production.
- Prioritize R&D tasks in collaboration with the product team.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Improve internal workflows and development methodologies.
- Research and implement new technologies.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on development experience in C/C++ and Python.
- Experience with Ubuntu and embedded Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services: Greengrass, IoT, ECS, ECR, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, Lambda.
- Strong understanding of web technologies (React, Nest.js, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with SDLC and agile development methodologies.
- Experience with Docker.
- Strong leadership skills– demonstrated through initiative, ownership, or relevant experience.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in a medical device company or other regulated industry.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of medical device communication protocols.
