Software Engineer – Java Junior

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to join in our group and develop Java SaaS web applications. The ideal candidate must have a BSc in computer science or equivalent.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Working closely with product owners, architects, and the Dev team to deliver features from requirements

to production.

· Design and implement applications that fulfil the requirements

· Create well-written code that runs efficiently and optimally

· Maintain services in production and staging environments.

· Deep knowledge of our products and how customers use them.

· Adhere to company internal policies and procedures

· Adhere to company coding standards

COMPETENCIES

· Max 1 year of previous work experience (not relevant for current students)

· GPA above 85. Grade chart to be shared.

· Hands-on experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot. Relevant project portfolio (Github or similar) must be shared and will be reviewed.

• Basic Knowledge of SQL - required!

· Proven technical skills and self-learning ability, capable of thoroughly understanding the functional and technical aspects of a complex system.

· Good observation skills and a willingness to learn.

· Team player, highly motivated, can-do approach, great communication and presentation skills.

· Enthusiastic about code quality, architecture, design, testing, and performance.

· Ability to identify and manage risks, bottlenecks, and challenges ahead of time, and finding solutions to resolve them.

· Innovator by nature. Thinking out of the box.

· Proactive, highly motivated individual with a high work ethic and goal-oriented approach.

· Fluent English (verbal, writing, reading) – A MUST!

· AWS knowledge and experience – an advantage
