We are seeking a
Senior DevOps Engineer to build and maintain our cloud infrastructure used for CI/CD pipelines and production services. You will collaborate with software engineers, fellow DevOps engineers, and other professionals to automate and manage our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in system design, architecture, and technology decisions.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and cloud resources for development and production environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Document and refine DevOps processes and practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
- Participate in on-call rotation of production services outside normal business hours.
- Assist developers with daily tasks, deployments, and projects
- Mentor and guide Junior DevOps engineers.
Requirements:
- 5 years experience as a DevOps engineer in a production environment. Highly available services using clustering and redundancy are a must.
- A strong understanding of Linux and network fundamentals.
- Demonstrated experience using managed cloud services, including but not limited to, compute, network, storage, and databases, with a preference for AWS or GCP.
- Proficiency with containers and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Experience maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with a preference for Terraform, Terragrunt desired.
- Use of monitoring and logging tools - Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/OpenSearch are essential.
- CI/CD Pipeline development. Experience with GitHub Actions and self-hosted runners are advantageous.
- Strong shell scripting skills. Basic programming experience with a high-level language such as Python or Go is desired.
- Working knowledge of security best practices.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions that directly impact your work.
- Excellent team work, communication, and writing skills.
