Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and securing scalable services using AWS serverless architecture, Python, and React. While the role primarily focuses on backend development, it also requires proficiency in frontend technologies, ensuring a strong full-stack capability.

The developer is expected to take ownership of feature development, primarily focusing on backend tasks while also handling some frontend work. This includes leading the process end-to-end—from planning and design to development, testing, and ongoing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-stack development with a strong emphasis on backend (Python, AWS) while also working with React on the frontend.
• End-to-end ownership – from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, security, and deployment.
• Deep product knowledge – understanding how our customers use our applications and optimizing for their needs.
• Collaboration with UX experts to deliver an intuitive and seamless user experience.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python.
• Basic experience in front-end development using Angular or React.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying serverless applications on AWS.
• Proactive, highly motivated, and goal-oriented, with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence others.
• Self-learner with a passion for acquiring new knowledge and sharing insights with the team.

Additional Information

How you will stand out from the crowd:

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Artifactory.
• Experience developing and maintaining SaaS applications.
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including secure web coding, threat modeling, and OWASP guidelines.
• Proficiency in AWS CDK for infrastructure as code.
