About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with a strong background in building scalable and high-performance backend systems. Experienced in designing and developing APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures. Skilled in database design, cloud infrastructure, and system optimization. Passionate about solving complex engineering challenges and contributing to the core technical foundation of an innovative fintech and crypto product.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Python, Java, or similar backend technologies.
• Experience designing and building scalable, high-performance APIs and microservices.
• Solid understanding of database design (SQL and NoSQL), caching strategies, and distributed systems.
• Experience working with Neo4j - big advantage!
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience working in fintech, crypto, or other regulated industries is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka), and background job processing is an advantage.
