Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Cloud Engineer at iENSO in Raanana. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for software development, infrastructure management, cloud computing, and working with various databases. This role allows for flexibility to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud architecture and infrastructure.
• Ensure system scalability, security, and performance for high-traffic and real-time IoT applications.
• Manage databases (SQL and NoSQL) and implement efficient data processing pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud services and infrastructure.
• Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
• Contribute to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Proven experience in cloud development with platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with non-SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with video streaming protocols such as WebRTC, RTSP, and other related protocols - Advantage.
• Knowledge of Istio (preferred) and other service mesh technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and principles.
• Experience with real-time and distributed systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
