Your Career
The Prisma Cloud Application Security (CAS) product is responsible for securing the development echo system from code to deployment - We scan infrastructure and applications code, VCS configurations, and the interlinking CI/CD systems used to release cloud applications. The product identifies problems, facilitates “shift left” operations, and helps our customers remediate them.
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our Data infrastructure & DevEx group. In this role, you will contribute to constructing the department's data infrastructure, supporting millions of events and fostering the development of cutting-edge DevEx tools. Your responsibilities will include leading end-to-end development of complex & scalable features and services in a fast-paced startup environment, complementing the industry's leading cloud application security platform.
Your Impact
- Design and implement scalable solutions for environments with hundreds of millions of entities
- Lead end-to-end development of complex features, from reviewing requirements and technical design to deployment
- Stay current with the latest technologies, leveraging cloud infrastructure, Serverless, Terraform, TypeScript, NodeJS, SQL, and NoSQL databases
- Optimize the performance of our data infrastructure and databases, including RDS, MongoDB, OpenSearch, Redis, and more
- Contribute to business-critical and challenging projects, Proof of Concept (POC) and various DevEx initiatives
Qualifications
Your Experience
- 7+ years of experience working as a Backend Developer
- 2+ years Cloud experience (Preferable AWS)
- Hands-on experience with different databases SQL/noSQL
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript/Javascript
- Independent, autodidactic mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience required
Advantage
- Serverless methodologies
- IaC (Infrastructure as Code) - Terraform, Cloud Formation, Pulumi, etc.
- Experience with live production systems with high scale
