Responsibilities

• Architect the system’s production topology, focusing on scalability, security, fault tolerance, and resource management.
• Own and continuously improve the build and CI systems of Starkware Industries.
• Define and manage automated production processes such as code deployment, gradual deployment, backups, and cluster management.
• Applying modern software engineering practices to streamline deployments, reduce costs , deployment times, and operational overhead.
• Work hand in hand with engineering teams to offer guidance and education on integration, testing, monitoring, and security across different technology stacks.

The right candidate

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in a startup environment.
• 3+ years with CI and deployment tools such as Jenkins and Argo CD.
• 3+ years of Coding experience in Python or other equivalent .
• Deep dive understanding of CI\CD concepts and hands-on implementation. experiences.
• Skilled in Linux system administration.
• Team player, fast self-learning individual, and service-oriented attitude.

Ideally

• Experience in software development.
• Experience working with Bazel.
• Experienced with working in a startup environment
• Familiarity with blockchain technologies and applications
• Has an academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
