As a BI and Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in our BI product development. If you have a background in data engineering and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data models with efficient data extracts, coming from multiple sources
- Develop complex ETL and SQL queries
- Design, build and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor company business performance and KPIs
- Transform business requirements into BI solutions by collaborating with business focal, analysts, senior managers, and other organizational stakeholders
- Build end-to-end data flows and data enrichment processes
- Architect, implement, and optimize data warehouses and data marts to support business analytics and reporting needs
- Become a focal point for all data-related matters in the organization
- Monitor and tune BI systems for optimal performance and scalability
- Support and train end-users to maximize the effectiveness of BI solutions
Requirements:
- Education: B.Sc. degree in Information Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience as a Data/BI Engineer
- Strong knowledge of DWH methodologies and best practices
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and relational databases; proven ability to write complex, optimized SQL queries
- Experience with ETL/ELT cloud-based solutions (Rivery,dbt)
- Hands-on experience with Tableau
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or other analytical databases
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle development tasks from business needs to final product
- Strong analytical skills, quick learner with a “make it happen” attitude
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in high-pressure environments
- Independent and self-motivated
- Experience working in cloud environments – Advantage
- Hands-on experience with Python or other programming languages – Advantage
- Experience with production systems – Advantage
- Experience with Tableau server environment administration – Advantage
