What You'll Do: 

As the AI Lead specializing in NLP and LLM, you will lead the Data Science team and oversee the design, development, and implementation of NLP solutions that drive Droxi’s product offerings. Your role will include: 

• Leading and managing the AI team, driving both technological direction and team development. 
• Designing and implementing state-of-the-art LLMs, improving deep learning algorithms, and enhancing our machine learning capabilities. 
• Taking ownership of NLP projects from start to finish, including feature requests, solution development, production deployment, and ongoing monitoring. 
• Leveraging extensive medical datasets to create user-centric applications. 
• Serving as the technical focal point for the team, guiding technical decisions and ensuring the team’s success in delivering high-quality solutions. 

Who You Are: 

• A seasoned Data Scientist with at least 2 years of leadership experience. 
• Proven experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks like NER, classification, and tools like spaCy, LangChain, and Hugging Face. 
• Experience with LLM fine-tuning techniques such as LORA and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). 
• Strong expertise in setting up the infrastructure for model deployment. 
• Proficiency in Python programming. 
• A “can-do” attitude with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility. 
• Able to work both independently and as an integral team player. 
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. 

You’ll Be a Perfect Match if You Also Have: 

• Experience with MLOps tools and frameworks (MLFlow). 
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards like ICD, UMLS, SNOMED, and LOINC. 
• Experience with AWS infrastructure for model deployment and scalability. 
• Knowledge of knowledge graphs and embeddings. 
• Expertise in efficient inference techniques for NLP models.

Work Environment & Location: 

At Droxi, we value flexibility and collaboration. Our office is conveniently located in Haifa, just a 2-minutes walk from the Merkaz Hashmona train station, making it easily accessible. We generally prefer to work from the office three times a week to foster team collaboration and connection, but we’re open to discussing arrangements that work best for you.
