We are looking for an experienced Algorithm Engineer to join our R&D Group.

As a fast-growing, leading e-commerce company with vast amounts of data, We continuously enhance our algorithms to discover new, data-driven insights and leverage Generative AI to power innovative solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong computer science academic background, real-world implementation experience, and a passion for AI and machine learning. You will join a fast-paced, highly technical, and savvy group responsible for building Fiverr’s platforms and algorithms, working with cutting-edge technologies like ElasticSearch, Golang, Redis, MongoDB, BigQuery, Kubernetes, AWS, and more. You’ll collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, product managers, business owners, and other teams across Fiverr to drive impactful solutions.

WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?

• Owning the solution life cycle end to end: from research and prototyping to implementing algorithms and integrating them into production environments, including A/B testing, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Tackling complex business problems by deconstructing them into smaller issues, researching, and developing innovative, AI-driven solutions.
• Combining disciplines of algorithms, big-data processing and analysis, Generative AI, and high-scale cloud programming to solve business challenges.
• Working in a highly agile, continuous delivery, large-scale environment where new features quickly reach extensive A/B testing in production.
• Staying at the forefront of AI advancements, applying the latest techniques and tools to enhance Fiverr’s offerings.
  
  

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on development experience in a production environment, with solid knowledge of OOP and experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• 3+ years of experience developing and implementing data-based algorithms.
• BSc & MSc graduates in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar fields from leading institutions.
• Vast knowledge and passion for AI, machine learning, statistics, and math.
• Avid learner with a deep passion for data, eager to explore new territories and solve complex problems.
• Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to visualize and explain complex concepts.
• Strong interpersonal skills, and team player.
